Happy Friday!! You made it to the end of the week! St. Patrick’s Day is this weekend! Do you guys celebrate? We always do. My family is very Irish, and it also happens to be my mom’s birthday! So we always wear green and go out and celebrate our heritage and of course the most special lady in our family, too!

I wanted to share this dress I wore to my cousin’s wedding in Colombia. It was such a romantic wedding. They had a string quartet playing on the rooftop of the most gorgeous hotel in Cartagena, overlooking the ocean! My cousin’s fiance was born in Colombia, and so she returned to honor her heritage, too! She is so beautiful, smart, and really has great taste and an eye for fashion and design, too. Their wedding sure was proof of that! It just got more and more amazing by the hour.

This dress by Majorelle is so soft and feminine, perfect for a day all about love! I love the blush florals in it that really pop with the black background. It’s ruched all the way to the bottom, too, so it’s really comfortable and flattering at the same time! The sweetheart neckline makes it even more romantic. I adore the ruffles at the bottom that make it similar to a Mermaid gown. The back is cut a little lower, but not too low, so you can still wear something underneath of it. It’s probably my favorite dress of the spring season thus far!
I’ve rounded up some other great longer dresses for weddings and events. I recently did a post about mini-dresses, but I couldn’t leave out the trending longer dresses for the season! Long dresses don’t have to mean that they are super formal. You can wear a long flowy dress for a dinner date, sightseeing, and even to run to Whole Foods! (Just ask Nene Leaks! Haha! She always says that on Fashion Police. RIP Fashion Police, I miss you! 🙁 ) So, don’t feel like longer dresses only mean black tie. Some of these are fancier than others, so I don’t mean wear them all to Whole Foods, LOL! I love how longer dresses drape on your body and especially the ones with a bit of slit, so you can still show off your shoes and a bit of leg, too!
I’ve linked this Majorelle dress below, as well as a bunch of my favorites! Which ones do you like? Are you going to any exciting events this spring/summer season? I hope you have an awesome weekend, and a Happy St. Patrick’s Day! <3
