Happy Saturday, babes! Hope you’re having a relaxing weekend. We just got home from our trip to Charleston! I’m super excited to share it with you soon! Charleston is such a charming city. We had a great time!
I was inspired in Charleston because it is full of boutiques with such unique items – especially jewelry! I picked up some really cute pieces and it got me thinking about how I have yet to do an accessory post for you! With Valentine’s Day coming up, what better time to talk about jewelry!? You can even forward this link to your bae! There are so many fun trends happening in jewelry right now, so I’ll cover some of my favorites 🙂
You have probably seen me wearing my coin necklaces in just about every post on Instagram and Facebook! These necklaces have been around for a bit, but they aren’t going anywhere! Coin necklaces are so pretty and can be worn in different ways. You can wear them solo, and they look super elegant. Or, you can layer them up with other dainty chains for a chic layered look. These necklaces can be worn over turtlenecks, on top of sweaters and tops, too. You don’t have to have a bare neck to show these off. They elevate any outfit! You can find coin necklaces that feature Greek mythology, astrology, religious saints, flowers, and more. They make a great vintage inspired statement!
Layered necklaces are really popular right now, too! I love these ones that came already layered for you, so you don’t have to do much work finding separate pieces on your own! The dainty, gold ones are my favorite.
As for earrings, I’m loving several trends at the moment – interlocking hoops, tortoise shell, geometric shapes, and gold bamboo hoops! The interlocking hoops are a fun update on the usual hoops (which I’m still a huge fan of!). The bamboo gold hoop trend is inspired by high end designers like Gucci and Celine! Luckily, you don’t have to pay those prices to get the look, though 🙂 I’ve found some great affordable ones here, as well as a bamboo initial necklace.
I love the tortoise shell trend for every season! It looks great with anything, especially your neutral tones and boho patterns. And don’t worry, it’s not really made of tortoise shells! They’re an endangered species and using their shells is illegal. These are usually made from acetate.
Finally, geometric shaped earrings have made a big splash. These statement pieces aren’t for the faint of heart! They look amazing with anything from your favorite jeans and tee to your best night out dress. They’re like a piece of artwork to hang on your lobes. If you are more of a minimalist, you can find them in smaller sizes and lighter weights. You can’t go wrong with any of these styles!
I’ve also picked some bracelets and rings that fit in with these trends. There are some great tortoise shell bracelets, coin charm bracelets, and vintage inspired rings mixed in with the necklaces and earrings here, too! These would all look great mixed and matched together. Hope you see something you love 🙂
