Hey, friends!! I hope you had a great weekend! It was very dreary here. But, I am loving the colors of fall and all of the beauty PA has to offer. The temps are dropping, too, so now’s the time to bring out your coats or look for new ones!

Faux fur is still so big this season and I’m not mad about it! I love the coziness and how soft they are, without hurting any animals. I found this one through Lulu’s and let me tell you, it is a keeper! I’m so impressed with the quality. It’s kind of shocking! It feels so much like real rabbit fur.

The inside is lined, which is really nice. I also love the long pelts. It’s designed just like a real fur coat would be. It’s not too heavy either, just the right amount of warmth for fall and early winter.

I would totally wear this with jeans as well as dressier outfits. You don’t have to be dressed super glamorously to pull this coat off. It would look just as nice with jeans and combat boots as it does with dresses and dress pants.

I love an all-white look! It’s so chic and classy. So, I paired my off-white pants from Express with this coat and a lace top from Wayf. I topped it off with nude pumps and this faux Gucci bag I found on Amazon. If you didn’t see my designer dupes from Amazon post I did last week, check it out here.

This beautiful coat was gifted to me from Lulu’s and you can purchase it directly here. It comes in a few other colors that are nice, too!

I’ve also linked this outfit in case anyone is interested in it. These pants are on sale right now. I am wearing the petite size and they are the perfect length. I am 5’3 and they’re still long enough for me to wear high heels and not look too short.

Thanks for reading guys! Have a wonderful day!

Happy Wellness Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by to check out this post! I’ve been on my wellness journey for a very long time now, well over a decade. As many of you know, I’ve had autoimmune disease, chronic Lyme disease, and many other chronic issues. I still struggle daily with fatigue and pain caused from having these illnesses for so long. But, I do my best to manage them through holistic means. Here’s a quick look at some things I do for self care everyday!

START THE DAY OFF WITH POSITIVE VIBES: For a long time I used to wake up and immediately check my IG, Facebook, and email. While I can’t exactly ignore these things, I’ve been changing what I see first thing in the morning by incorporating new habits. I’ve been reading Gabrielle Bernstein’s books and I really love them! They’re so inspiring, uplifting, and give you great guidance. She has an app called Spirit Junkie. Everyday there is a new positive affirmation to read in the app. It has a reminder to check it. Instead of checking my social media right off the bat, I’ve been checking that app, reading the affirmation, and thinking on it for a few minutes as soon as I wake up. It’s just a great way to start the day on the right foot!

MINERALS DO A BODY GOOD: After I read my affirmation, I always take some minerals! Minerals help to keep your body’s energy up! I can always tell when I’m low on minerals because my joints get stiff, I feel anxious, and I get fatigued. Sometimes I even get body pains. But, when I take the minerals with plenty of water, I feel much better! I’ve been using Trace Minerals for over a year now and I really love them. They don’t have any extra added fillers or nasty ingredients in them like so many supplements do. They’re very pure and give you a great dose of Magnesium! Magnesium is critical for many processes in the body. It helps to regulate muscle and nerve function, blood sugar levels, and blood pressure. It also facilitates the production of protein, bone, and DNA. It’s crucial for those of us who are doing protocols where you are detoxing. When we detox through sweat or other methods, we lose minerals. For a long time I didn’t realize this and was detoxing heavily without replenishing. I felt HORRIBLE. Now I know that taking minerals is super important to the process. I also take potassium and calcium.

BEMER MAT TIME: A couple years ago I was having horrific bladder pain. I thought it was a UTI, but it ended up being Interstitial Cystitis, aka Painful Bladder Syndrome. If you have this condition, my heart goes out to you! It is as miserable as having full blow Lyme disease. The pain feels like a jagged knife stabbing you in the bladder 24/7 with so much urgency and frequency to pee! I am so fortunate to have found natural ways to heal from this. I know so many women and men live it with it for their whole lives and it’s utterly torturous. But, back to the point… when I first had this, we were scrambling for ideas of how to help. A chiropractor I was seeing at the time had one of these mats and we started to learn more about it. It is a mat that’s full of coils and they give out customized electric frequencies that help get blood flow into your capillaries. This is where detoxification and healing begins. It is a fantastic tool for detoxing and pain management! My husband was so kind to buy this for me. It’s very expensive, but sometimes you can find one used on Ebay or from a practitioner. A lot of chiropractors and holistic wellness centers use them as well, so you can make an appointment to go and use one if buying one isn’t an option. They come highly recommended for any chronic disease, cancer, and pain. Tom Brady uses it, so you know it’s gotta be good! 🙂

MEDITATION: This is a newer one for me and to be totally honest, it’s hard as well! I am not one who sits quietly very well. I have a lot of anxiety and my mind is always running at full speed. So, that tells me I need to meditate even more! I’ve gotten a lot better at it recently and have even found it enjoyable. I realized that I don’t have to put so much pressure on myself to do it perfectly. It’s okay if your mind wanders. Just take note, and re-focus! You don’t even have to do it for very long to reap the benefits! It’s wonderful for reducing stress, anxiety, pain, muscle relaxation, boosting your immune system and mood, and even helps to decrease blood pressure! I know that when I take the time to do this my day is always better. I’ve been using Gabrielle Bernstein’s meditations that you can download from her site or the Headspace app. They are guided meditations and if you’re just beginning, it’s a great place to start! It really helps to clear my head and help me to focus, be present, and have a more positive outlook and attitude for the rest of the day. I kill two birds with one stone and do this while I lay on my Bemer mat!

FRESH AIR AND EXERCISE: I feel so grateful to be able to walk my dog again! For years just walking to the mailbox caused me a lot of fatigue and pain. I couldn’t do any kind of slight incline without flaring up terribly. Now, I’m walking Barkley for a mile and sometimes more! I don’t do a lot of hills yet, but that’s ok! Baby steps. But, getting outside to get fresh air, be among the trees (hello oxygen!! So necessary for healing!) and nature, and moving your body for 30 minutes a day is known to reduce disease and help digestion, joints, cardiovascular health, muscle endurace, sleep, and mood to name a few! I always feel less anxious and more focused when I get a good walk in. Plus it makes Barkley happy and it feels good to do something nice for someone else even if it’s just your pup 🙂

FOLLOW A WHOLE FOODS DIET: I strictly follow the Paleo diet, but not everyone needs to be grain and legume free. So, I’m not here to preach about being Paleo, but I love the lifestyle it has created for me because my body functions at a higher level and I have less pain and indigestion. The Paleo diet excludes grains, gluten, dairy, sugar, legumes, and any processed foods or oils. So, it really strips it down to whole foods that come straight from a farm, not a box. This is the healthiest way to get your nutrition. It is an anti-inflammatory diet. It’s great for everyone, but especially those that have chronic illness and inflammatory diseases. It brought my autoimmune disease into remission five years ago and I’ve remained in remission ever since I made the switch!

There are some Paleo approved snacks and products that I also use on occasion, but I try my best to always eat real food that you can buy in the produce section. I don’t love eating meat, but because grains and legumes cause me a lot of inflammation, I have to get protein somewhere, so I always buy organic, grass-fed meat, poultry, and wild-caught fish. I do make a point to have at least one plant-based meal a day, though if not more. It’s good for your body and for the environment!

So, even if you aren’t Paleo, eating whole foods (i.e. apples, squash, salmon, nuts, seeds) instead of foods pre-packaged, prepared, and processed, will make a HUGE difference in your health. If you’re looking for ways to get started, check out my post on the Paleo Diet here and here.

CBD FOR ANXIETY: At the end of a busy day, I tend to feel pretty stressed out and need to caaalllmmm down. This is when I reach for my CBD oil! I take a few droppers full along with some other herbs for relaxation and try my best to put my phone down, have dinner with my hubs, watch some TV, and relax. It’s important to have this time for yourself and your family. It’s healthy for your body and your relationships! CBD helps me relax so much. I would be lost without it! I also take Calm A.S.A.P. by Gaia, Rock Rose, and a homeopathic for anxiety. I love the Nano CBD by Hemple. You can use code KELLY10 for $10 off of your purchase.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OR SPIRITUAL BOOKS: I end my day by reading a book that inspires me to be a better me! Lately, I’ve been loving books by Gabrielle Bernstein! I just finished “The Universe Has Your Back” and I totally loved it! It is so full of great info, meditations, and guidance for how to love more and fear less. It’s helped me to gain a lot of perspective about life and circumstances we all find ourselves in. It helps to make the difficult times a little more bearable, knowing that you are always being guided. It’s a fresh perspective on spirituality. But, it is all encompassing. Anyone of any religion can read it and find value in it. It’s not a religious specific book. I think it’s amazing! So, I just got her new book “Super Attractor” and I’m loving it just as much! I downloaded the meditations and use them daily, too. I also loved Oprah’s “The Wisdom of Sundays” and “The Path Made Clear”, as well as Eckhart Tolle’s “A New Earth”. If you’re looking to elevate yourself and raise your vibration, check all of these out!

Those are my Top 8 Wellness Tips for Everyday! I do a lot more than just these things, but if I have to choose, these are my most important and effective ones. What are your every day wellness practices? Please share some in the comments below! 🙂

Hey guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day! I wanted to share some really fun items I found recently on Amazon. Everyone loves designer bags, jewelry, and other accessories. But, we can’t always afford them. Luckily, there are some really amazing dupes on Amazon right now and they’re way too good to pass up. I am all for splurging on a designer bag when you’re looking to treat yourself. I would never want to take away from the amazing work that these design houses do. But, their prices aren’t exactly affordable for all and often you wouldn’t be buying them anyway, so I’m going to share some of my favorite look-a-likes! Some of these are so good people would never even know!

Let’s start with jewelry! These knock-offs are pretty darn good if you ask me! Only if someone looked extremely closely could they tell that they’re not the real deal. I personally have these Gucci-wanna-be pearl drop earrings and the LV dupe charm bracelet, and I LOVE them both! They look so cute and very much like their expensive counterparts! I’ve linked some other nice options, too! I’m loving these LV studs and the Cartier look-a-like bangles.

Next up are other accessories, like scarves, wallets, and even doggy harnesses! A little bit of a designer touch can really make an outfit! I love these hair accessories that resemble Gucci and Hermes! The all black LV scarf is so nice too because it’s dark and anything black always looks more legit and expensive. How cute are the air pod cases, too?!

Finally, what you all are probably here for, are the HANDBAGS! YESSSS. These are SO GOOD. I love the Chloe look-a-likes! I’m wearing the bracelet bag one here. Unfortunately, I did not realize when taking these photos that the gold ring was flipped over so you can’t even see it! So sorry! It’s so pretty though when it’s showing. I also just got the tan one with the gold chain I linked below. It is so nice (real leather) and looks so much like the original. People stop and tell me they love my Chloe all the time. I always tell them where I got it. I would never lie about it. It’s fun to share my finds! I have a real Chloe bracelet bag and it’s honestly hard to tell the difference between the one I linked here and the real deal. Here you’ll find bags that look so much like Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Gucci, Hermes, Prada, Valentino, Christian Dior, and more!

Which are your favorites?! I would love to hear! Let me know what you think in the comments 🙂 I’m also linking this outfit in case you’re interested in it, too! These over-the-knee boots are so nice! I have them in all three colors because I love them so much. They have great stretch, but they also stay up so well on my legs. I have really petite, little legs and they work very well for me. I also know that girls say that they are stretchy and fit nicely for curvier legs, too. Use Code PREFALL for 20% off of them! Have a fabulous week, friends!

Happy Wellness Wednesday, friends! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s so rainy here in PA, but I’m sitting by my Verilux Comfort Lens light (see the end of the post to shop this) to give me some sunshine happiness indoors! If you have seasonal depression or don’t get outside too often, check it out! I just started using it, but I’ve heard great things.

Today I wanted to share this clean beauty brand with you because it has truly been so helpful to me. The Lina Hanson brand reached out to me to see if I would like to try their products. I checked the ingredients and they were very clean, so I obliged and they sent me a box of three of their best-selling skincare products.

I love clean beauty products and I think they can work just as well as their toxic counterparts. In fact, I often prefer them to the chemical laden products. But, I hadn’t yet found anything that worked well for my dreaded breakouts. I tend to break out on my chin and forehead. If I don’t use something for it, it will just happen all of the time. So, when I got this Global Trio from Lina Hanson, I was actually VERY surprised!

I started using the Global Trio every night as a cleanser and exfoliator. You can also use it as a mask by only adding a tiny bit of water, honey, or yogurt. But, I typically am late getting to bed and need a faster routine, so I just used it as a cleanser and exfoliator by adding a little bit of water and creating a paste. Then, I put it on and in small, gentle, circular motions, just massage it into my face. I ALWAYS take my makeup off first with a non-toxic makeup wipe. Yes, you have to be careful of the wipes you choose, many have nasty chemicals in them.

Within a week, I noticed that my breakouts were gone or barely existent! I will take a tiny bump over a huge acne cyst on my chin any day! But, for the most part, it’s been a lot clearer and brighter. I’m so relieved because I hate using acne products with harsh chemicals. If I can keep them at bay with natural ingredients, that is definitely the way to go!

I then follow the Global Trio up with the Global Face Serum. It’s so moisturizing and gives my skin a nice glow and noticeable plump! I tend to get very dry and need a great moisturizer. I love that it’s so clean and gentle.

Finally, I use the Global Treasures eye and neck cream. It was awarded the Best Eye Cream by Glamour Magazine in 2019! I dab a tiny bit under my eyes and around the top. Then, I put some over my neck as well because the first signs of aging are always on your neck! Whatever you are doing for your face, you should also do for your neck and decolletage!

If you’re looking for a great non-toxic skincare brand to try and you’re worried about investing in it because it may not be effective for you, I totally understand. They are not always cheap. But, the ingredients are always clean and properly sourced, so what you’re paying for is that purity. In my opinion, it’s worth it. Your health is worth more than anything you own. So, investing in taking care of it is what’s best. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone looking for a great, clean option, especially if you suffer from acne, large pores, or dry skin skin.

Final note, I do not get paid anything from your purchases of this product. It was gifted to me, but I had no obligation or financial incentive to write this post or promote their products. It is all my own volition and personal experience. I really like the products, so I want to share them with you in hopes that they help you, too!

Let me know if you end up trying them! Leave a comment below if you have tried Lina Hanson, or if you have other clean beauty product recommendations! I love hearing from you all 🙂

Happy Sunday Funday, friends! I hope you have had a great weekend! We went to a fall dinner party with friends last night and it was so much fun! We ate all of the fall harvest foods like butternut squash, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, apple salad, and pears for dessert! It was delicious and I’m so thankful to have nice friends who do fun things like that. 🙂

Today’s blog post is all about TIGER print! I am obsessed with it! I can’t get enough animal print lately, and I’m so happy to add this one to my closet! At first I wasn’t sure, but now I’m all here for it. Tiger is the new leopard, friends! Get on board! 🙂

I’ve been seeing tiger print everywhere! Handbags, shoes, belts, and clothing! All of the big designers are featuring so many cute tiger pieces! I linked a Gucci bag I love below and some others at more reasonable prices. If Gucci is doing it, this trend is here to stay for a while.

I love this sweater from Express. It is part of the Negin Mirsalehi collection she did with Express. Negin is a major fashion influencer and I have a huge crush on her and her style. So, I was so happy to see this collection. There are a couple different tiger pieces in it.

This sweater is so easy to style. I went for a casual look with jeans from Good American (one of my favorites, as you know!). But, you could easily pair it with pants for work, or a mini or midi skirt for going out, too! It’s so soft, not itchy at all, and has a nice stretch to it. I’m wearing the XS just for size reference.

I’ve linked a bunch of my favorite tiger print pieces for you below! What do you think of this trend? Have you caught the tiger fever yet? Let me know in the comments below!

Happy Wellness Wednesday, friends! Today, I’m sharing my entire clean beauty makeup routine with you! Ever since I’ve been so sick, I’ve made a lot of changes to the way I eat, live, and what products I use in my home and my body. It’s important to remember that our skin absorbs what we put on it. It goes into our bloodstreams and can often be very harmful. The cosmetic industry in the United States is not regulated. You might think that because it is on a shelf in a store that it must have passed through some testing process to make it safe for consumers. Unfortunately, this is not the case. We as consumers are responsible for checking labels, doing research about ingredients, and making decisions about what is best for us and our families. If you want to learn more about why I choose clean beauty products, check out this post.

I love clean, non-toxic beauty products because I know that I am not causing any harm to myself with what I use on a daily basis. I spent a lot of time researching and finding quality brands that are made with natural ingredients and that PERFORM well! Check out my clean beauty makeup tutorial video on Instagram today where I show you step by step how I use each product! Here on the blog, I am going to list out everything that I used to create this look. These are not all of the clean beauty brands that I use and trust, but some of them. Stay tuned for more to come!

Primer and SPF in one:

I love this sunscreen because it gives you protection from the sun with safe, non-toxic ingredients, PLUS it acts as a primer for your makeup! Be careful with conventional brands of sunscreen because they almost always have harmful ingredients. I would recommend any of Suntegrity’s products.

Foundation:

I love this foundation by Dermablend because it has amazing coverage and lasts all day! I need a full coverage foundation because I have some skin pigmentation and this totally disguises it. It scores a 2 on the EWG’s SkinDeep website which is a great score! The lower the better. EWG is a great resource for checking whether products are harmful or not. There’s even an app you can put on your phone for convenience. This foundation comes in a lot of great colors. I use Bisque when I’m more fair and Sienna when I have a tan! I also want to mention that I really like this Ilia True Skin Serum foundation as well! It’s nice and lightweight when you don’t want or need full coverage. It lays really nicely on the skin.

Concealer:

Unfortunately, I cannot link this concealer through an affiliate, so I don’t have a photo for you, but you can find the concealer here. It’s by Uniful Beauty. I love this concealer because it also has great coverage, goes on smoothly, and brightens my under-eye area a lot. I use the shade Fair in the winter and Light in the summer.

Setting Powder:

This setting powder by Jane Iredale is awesome! It doesn’t leave you looking dusty and it sits so nicely over top of any foundation I have used. Most conventional (mainstream) brands have aluminum in their powders. Heavy metals are very toxic and dangerous to our health. They can lead to chronic illness and even cancer. It is very wise to toss all of your products that contain aluminum or other metals, including deodorants and antiperspirants. This powder really sets your makeup so it doesn’t smudge off and leaves your skin looking nice and flawless!

Eyebrows:

This eyebrow pencil by BeautyCounter is really great! I love the colors it comes in. I use the shade Medium. It is nice and ashy! Most of our brows are on the ashier side, so it’s good to use a pencil that matches. I’ve used ones with red in them before and it just doesn’t look right! These are nice and neutral. I love that it has a brush attached! Brushing before filling in is a must!

Contour:

This contour kit is awesome. It has a really nice ashy tone for your contour. It’s important when contouring to use an ash brown because if you use a more reddish-orange bronzer, it doesn’t look natural. Contours are meant to create a shadow. Shadows are more grey than orange or red. So, this color works perfectly. I love the formula. It goes on smoothly and evenly. There is also a highlight color here to use on the tip of your nose, forehead, tops of the cheekbones, and cupid’s bow.

Blush:

This blush by Alima Pure is so pretty! I love the color Antique Rose. It’s nice and natural and works all season long. This blush is so pretty and sheer, not too heavy. It blends beautifully for a fresh faced, rosy glow!

Eyeshadow:

I am blown away by this eyeshadow palette by Aether Beauty! It is so beautiful! The colors are extremely pigmented, and man, do they perform! They last all day. There are both matte and shimmer shadows in this palette. It’s perfectly balanced. The shimmery shadows in the palette are more amazing than conventional ones I have tried! They really stand out! Don’t let the name of this palette fool you, it is perfect for year round use. I love that it has both neutral, everyday shadows, and some for a more dramatic evening look, too! You can even use some of these as a highlighter as well. I am so impressed with this product, and it’s been worth every cent! I love to put a little dab of this gold shimmer shadow in the center of my eyelid for an extra pop! It looks so pretty! You can find this palette at Sephora! They now carry a lot of clean beauty brands. Just look for the green seal!

Eyeliner:

I love to use liquid eyeliner on my upper eyelids. In my tutorial on IGtv today, I use this ZuZu eyeliner. It is less toxic than other conventional brands. It gets a rating of 3 on the EWG SkinDeep Website. So, it’s not the cleanest option, but it is what I have to use right now. I will probably be replacing it with either Mineral Fusion Liquid Eyeliner or W3ll People’s liquid liner. These are better options. For my lower eyelids I use a pencil. This Lily & Lolo eyeliner pencil is great! It’s very pigmented, goes on smoothly, and lasts all day.

Mascara:

This mascara by W3ll People is one of my favorites! The brush is so good. It really helps to separate your lashes and coat them for a longer, fuller look. This formula never cakes or crumbles. It has my seal of approval!

Highlighter:

One of my favorite clean beauty highlighters that I use over and over again is from Gia Minerals. It’s called Candlelight Glow. It shows up so beautifully! It also works better than conventional brands I’ve tried. You can find it here along with my entire collection that I made with Gia Minerals earlier in the year! It’s an awesome combination of products that are great for everyday use. I love to wear neutral tones with a bit of sparkle and shine. This collection has it all! I love this highlighter because it really gives you a beautiful, golden glow! The name says it all. You look like your best self in candlelight!

Lipstick:

I love this Siren Lipstick by Vapour! It is certified organic, goes on smoothly and wears really well. I have the color Naive and it’s a really nice brown, nude color. They have lots of really great colors to choose from. Great for everyday wear!

Alright, guys! That’s it! My entire clean beauty regimen broken down for ya. It is so important to remember that what we put on our bodies is just as important as what we put in them. Be an informed consumer and know that you have to do your own ingredient checking! Hopefully the laws in the U.S. will change to ban many of the ingredients that are restricted in other countries. By choosing better products, we can shift the direction of the beauty industry. I always tell people to replace old products with new, cleaner ones. You’ll feel and look good from the inside out 🙂

Happy Monday, friends! Hope you had a great weekend! The weather changed here in PA, and we are in full fall mode! We spent our weekend taking it easy for once, but now it’s full speed ahead for an insanely busy week! We are headed to Nemacolin tomorrow for an event called “Fat Bird Food Fight”! All of the chefs compete against each other! Should be very fun. I’m excited to eat all of their delicious food 🙂

Today’s post is all about shirt dresses! I am loving this trend for fall and winter! It’s a great casual way to wear a dress. It doesn’t have to be fancy. It is definitely office approved (assuming the slits aren’t too high and the wind isn’t blowing your skirt up, LOL) and looks so chic for going out, too! It also works for weekend brunches or dinners! Very versatile, and you guys know I love a good piece you can wear everywhere!

I found this adorable snakeskin shirt dress at Shopbop.com. It sold out so fast! There are a couple left now at Nordstrom, so if you are interested in it, I’d act fast! These shirt dresses, especially the snakeskin ones, are super popular right now and everyone wants to get their hands on one!

I paired mine with my favorite new pair of Steve Madden slouchy snakeskin boots! I love this look! The slit in the skirt of the dress really shows off your shoes, so it’s a perfect opportunity to rock your favorite fall boots! It looks classy and elegant, but so on trend. If you’re looking for new boots, check out my post on Fall 2019 Boot Trends. I have tons of the most popular options linked there for you!

You could easily throw a cardigan or little moto jacket over this dress for extra warmth come the winter months. I like a cardigan with it, topped off with a chic belt!

I’ve linked some of my favorite shirt dresses for you below! What do you guys think of this trend? Will you try it? Leave me a comment below! 🙂 Also, if you like this post, be sure to check out my recent post on Fall Maxi Dresses here.

Hey, guys! Hope you’re having a good week so far! It’s been soooo hot here in PA it’s insane. I saw a meme that said “Hope you’re having a great July 71st!” No joke! I’m ready for it to cool down a little. The leaves have still turned and are dropping though, so at least it looks like fall if nothing else 🙂

One of my favorite trends for fall this season is the long sleeve maxi dress! I love wearing dresses because they’re more comfortable and I like to be dressed up and look nice. Why not? 🙂 I usually get a bit disappointed when cooler weather comes around because I typically go back to wearing jeans. But, I’m loving these maxis for colder weather! It’ so easy to wear and works for work or pleasure!

I found this C/MEO Collective maxi dress at Shopbop.com during their sale a few weeks ago. It has since gone on sale even more at other stores! YAY! If you find it in your size at one of the stores where it’s not on sale, you can usually send them a screen shot of it on sale elsewhere and they will match it for you. I have no idea why ASOS has it listed for $316?! It was never that high to begin with anywhere, so that’s pretty puzzling. But, you can contact customer service and hopefully they would help you out!

I LOVE the colors and pattern of this dress! It screams fall romance! It’s cheetah maybe? Haha, I think it is a cheetah print. I’m seeing so many animal prints lately that they’re all starting to look the same! But, I really do love this one. It’s classy and sexy at the same time! The cut is also stunning! I love the plunging neckline and the buttons down the front. It has a lining to the knees and is sheer from the knees down with a pretty little slit and flowing skirt. Can we talk about these sleeves?! So gorgeous. I’m in love with the balloon sleeve. It’s such a statement and makes this dress look so high fashion! It really does look more expensive than it is.

I paired this with some strappy square toe shoes from ASOS that I got this summer. However, when it does get cooler, this dress would look amazing with some black boots! I love it with over-the-knee or slouchy boots (see the dresses in the widget below – a lot are modeled this way). Slouchy boots are really in this season. Check out my post on Fall 2019 Boot Trends here. You can also rock this with some booties! A suede or faux suede would be so cute!

Maxi dresses are great for colder weather because you get the extra coverage, and you can wear tall boots with them, so you won’t freeze like I typically do in mini dresses. I love this look paired with a leather moto jacket over top, or a cardigan sweater, too. It’s versatile and can be worn for lots of different occasions.

I’ve linked a bunch of my favorites at reasonable prices for you below! What do you think of this trend? Let me know in the comments. Hope you have a great weekend 🙂

Happy October, friends! I can’t believe it’s already October. I’m trying to stay in the moment and enjoy it without fearing the coming winter, haha. I love fall and all of the warm colors, tastes, and smells! Making seasonal recipes that are healthy is one of my favorite things to do. In the spirit of the season, I’m sharing this Pumpkin Pie Smoothie with you today!

I love this smoothie because it is made of REAL food ingredients. It is also free of sugar, dairy, gluten, grains, and artificial sweeteners. It’s a perfect way to start your day, or end it as dessert. I always like to have protein, fat, and carbohydrates in the morning to steady my blood sugar levels throughout the day. This recipe sets you off on the right foot!

This smoothie is Paleo and Vegan (option of not being vegan, depending upon what you have and your chosen diet). But, don’t be fooled, it’s very flavorful! It’s also packed with so much nutrition! Pumpkin has lots of antioxidants and is rich in Vitamin A and C. If you add your spinach in, you’ll get iron, too. Just because it’s delicious, doesn’t mean it’s not nutritious! 🙂 Here is what you need to make it:

PUMPKIN PIE PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup of Organic Full Fat Coconut Milk (can sub almond milk, but coconut will be creamier)
  • 2 tsp of Organic Maple Syrup (Or honey – not vegan)
  • 1/2 tsp of Organic Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1/4 tsp of Organic Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of Organic Vanilla
  • 1 Cup of Ice
  • Handful of Organic Spinach (optional)
  • Note: I listed all ingredients as organic because we don’t always realize how many pesticides and toxins can be in things like spices! I used to think it was not a big deal, but I did a lot of research and have found that spices are full of them! So, it’s good to start to replace them with higher quality, organic ones as you go.

Then, put all of the ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth! Pour, and enjoy!

I hope you enjoy this autumn treat! Happy Fall everyone! Let me know if you make it in the comments below 🙂 If you haven’t yet, check out my Pumpkin Turkey Chili Recipe!

Happy Monday, babes! Hope you had a great weekend! I don’t know about you, but i am WIPED out after the weekend. I need a weekend after that weekend, haha. I didn’t do anything crazy, I just worked a lot and am exhausted from it. I haven’t been feeling well for a few weeks and the stress just takes a toll, you know? Gotta rest up this week and try to get to a better place. I hope you’re feeling well or giving yourself rest, too.

I wanted to share this fun jumpsuit trend with you today! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m loving the puffy, 80’s sleeves! We saw this trend all over the major fashion house runways and I’m loving that its made its way to more affordable brands!

I found this jumpsuit by L’Academie at Revolve. I love this brand! They always have such unique pieces that stand out and are so much fun to wear! This jumpsuit is no exception.

The color of this jumpsuit is so bold, just like it’s cut! I love this for fall and winter. It will work so well during the holidays, too! The fabric is so silky and it’s really comfortable!

I paired this with a belt with chain link detail from Asos. I love the mix of femininity and edginess! It makes for such a strong look! No one will mess with you in this outfit, LOL! I also chose my favorite Sam Edelman heels and Chanel bag. Royal blue always looks so great with black! Classic combo in a fresh and trendy style.

I’ve linked some other similar jumpsuits for you! I included some of the designer ones just so you can see them, but there’s lots of affordable options, too! Hope you guys have an awesome week! 🙂
